Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity serving a vibrant community as a School Occupational Therapist, supporting the developmental needs of infants and toddlers. This full-time position allows you to make a significant impact by working closely with the Child Find program and collaborating directly with families and educational staff. Your expertise will help ensure young learners thrive from the very beginning of their educational journey.

Responsibilities:

Provide direct occupational therapy services to children ages birth to five within early childhood programs Conduct screenings, assessments, and evaluations related to Child Find referrals Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families and multidisciplinary teams Offer consultation and guidance to teachers and parents for at-home and classroom strategies Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal regulations Participate in team meetings, IEP/IFSP processes, and ongoing professional development

Qualifications:

Current Maryland Occupational Therapy license (MD OT License) required Previous experience in pediatric, early intervention, or school-based settings Strong communication and organizational skills Knowledge of Child Find and early childhood development principles Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team This contract engagement allows you to immerse yourself in a supportive school district setting from August 10, 2026, through June 17, 2027.
