Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting early learners as an Occupational Therapist in a school-based setting near Prince Frederick, MD. Key Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Maryland (or eligibility for licensure) School-based OT experience or strong background in early childhood/Pre-K settings Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams Commitment to fostering student independence and functional skills Compassion, patience, and adaptability to diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students in early childhood and Pre-K classrooms Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with student goals Collaborate with educators and staff to support curriculum and classroom participation Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and necessary compliance paperwork Communicate effectively with families and participate in IEP meetings Remain flexible to provide services during the school year and the likely Extended School Year program (ESY) in July This contract role begins ASAP and runs through July 30, 2027, offering consistency and the chance to see your impact unfold over time.
