At our Leisure World location, you'll work one-on-one with each patient in 40-45 minute sessions, Monday-Friday with no weekends, treating a geriatric population where relationship-based care actually makes a difference. Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans suited to a geriatric population Deliver hands-on, one-on-one care — ADL retraining, adaptive equipment training, fall-prevention and functional mobility work, cognitive-functional strategies Collaborate with PTs, PTAs, and the care team on patient cases Document progress and outcomes in real time Support smooth day-to-day clinic operations as needed
REQUIREMENTS
Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (MOT/OTD) from an ACOTE-accredited program Maryland OT license, or eligibility for licensure (new grads welcome) Comfort and genuine interest in working with older adults Strong communication skills and a patient-first approach Comfortable working as part of a collaborative clinical team Experience with geriatric or outpatient populations is a plus, but not required.
