Responsibilities:
Responsible for assessing and treating patients referred for occupational therapy in an effective and professional manner while adhering to Maryland State law and the American Occupational Therapy Association Code of Ethics. Collaborates with physicians, medical professionals, staff and families to ensure quality of care. Therapists provide assessment and care for patients of all ages from neonates through the geriatric patients. Additional training may be required to work with special programs, procedures or specified groups of patients as determined by department guidelines and best practice. Supports the Mission of Trinity Health and Holy Cross Hospital What you will need
  • Required:
    Graduate of an accredited school with a M.S. or B.S. degree in Occupational Therapy Current licensure by the Maryland State Board. American Heart Association
  • CPR certified within probationary period
  • six (6) months Successful completion of at least six months supervised, full time fieldwork approved by the educational institution granting the degree.
Adheres to the AOTA Code of Ethics Reads, writes, speaks, and comprehends the English language Must be able to work weekends and holidays Must be willing and able to become proficient on basic computer systems utilized for documentation, scheduling and charging systems Pay range: $54.97 Per Diem Flat Rate Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
