Pride Health is hiring a Occupational Therapisttosupport our client's healthcarefacility in Waldorf, Maryland.

5x8 Days | 40 hours per week

Coverage Area:

Calvert, Charles, St. Marys, PG counties

Job Type:

Local contract

Contract Length:

13 weeks

Pay Range:

$52 to $58/hour

Mileage Reimbursement Rate:

$0.49/mile

  • Pay offered is based on experience,expertise, credentialing, and education.
Duties:
  • Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations in patients homes and develop individualized treatment plans based on functional needs and goals.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions to improve patients mobility, ADLs, safety, strength, coordination, and independence in the home environment.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on home exercise programs, adaptive equipment, fall prevention, and safe techniques for daily activities.
  • Document patient progress, update care plans, and collaborate with physicians, nurses, PTs, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team.
Requirements:
    Education:

    Bachelor's degree

    • License(s): Occupational therapist license for the state of Maryland
    • Certification(s): BLS-AHA
    • Years of experience: 1+
