Desired Skills and Experience:

Valid and up-to-date Occupational Therapist licensure in Maine Experience working with students in a K-8 or PreK-12 school setting preferred Strong ability to provide individualized and group OT services in alignment with IEPs Solid documentation, communication, and organizational skills Commitment to fostering student independence and participation Positive, collaborative approach with educators, families, and school staff Ability to manage direct therapy with follow-up paperwork

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct occupational therapy services to students, focusing on motor skills, sensory processing, and classroom participation Conduct assessments, develop goals, and create intervention plans Maintain accurate records, data collection, and progress reports Consult regularly with teachers, staff, and families to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and recommend strategies for classroom accommodations
