In person Join Our Collaborative Pediatric Therapy Team! MPS Therapy, LLC is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate Occupational Therapist or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTR/L or COTA/L) to join our growing pediatric therapy team at our Farmington clinic. We are looking for someone who enjoys helping children build confidence, independence, and the skills needed to participate more fully in everyday life. Our clinic provides collaborative, family-centered care alongside physical therapy and speech-language pathology professionals. The ideal candidate is flexible, dependable, and passionate about working with children and families. Pediatric experience is preferred, but we also welcome motivated clinicians who are eager to grow their pediatric skills within a supportive, collaborative environment. Responsibilities Complete comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized plans of care, as appropriate to licensure. Provide engaging, play-based interventions addressing developmental, sensory, motor, self-care, feeding, and functional participation needs. Work with children with a wide range of developmental needs, including complex medical diagnoses. Collaborate with families, caregivers, medical providers, and members of our multidisciplinary PT, OT, and SLP team. Educate families and caregivers about therapeutic strategies and home recommendations. Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans to support meaningful outcomes. Participate in discharge planning and continuity-of-care activities. Maintain accurate and timely evaluations, progress notes, treatment notes, and plans of care in accordance with professional and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy or Occupational Therapy Assistant program. Current or eligible Maine occupational therapy license. Pediatric or early-intervention experience is preferred. Familiarity with pediatric development, standardized assessments, plans of care, and discharge planning is preferred. Strong communication, organization, and clinical documentation skills. Ability to work independently while also contributing to a collaborative team.
