9681878-04345 Job Description Step into a rewarding part-time contract opportunity supporting young learners as a school-based Occupational Therapist. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about early childhood development and who thrive working with preschool-aged children in a dynamic educational setting. This position requires onsite presence for 1.5 to 2 days per week, covering approximately 1014 hours each week. The focus will be on providing services to 3- and 4-year-old students, helping them build foundational skills that are essential for educational and personal growth. The contract will run from as soon as possible through the end of the school year.

Qualifications & Experience:

Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state Experience working in a school setting, ideally with early childhood or preschool-aged children Strong communication skills with children, staff, and families Ability to assess, plan, and implement individualized therapy interventions Adept at collaborating with teachers, support staff, and parents

Primary Responsibilities:

Evaluate and provide direct therapy services to a caseload of 3- and 4-year-old students Develop and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed Consult with teachers and staff to support integration and progress within the classroom Document student progress and maintain accurate, timely records Participate in team meetings to discuss student goals and outcomes Enjoy a flexible part-time schedule, making an impact without sacrificing work/life balance.
