Job Description

School-Based Occupational Therapist Per Diem, Part-Time, Full-Time | Flexible Schedule Lewiston, Maine | Outpatient & School-Based Settings Join Andwell Health Partners and help students thrive—in the classroom and beyond. We're seeking a compassionate, collaborative, and motivated School-Based Occupational Therapist to join our team and provide high-quality therapy services that empower students to succeed academically, socially, and independently. What You'll Do As a School-Based Occupational Therapist, you'll partner with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to help students develop the skills they need for success in school.
Your responsibilities will include:
Evaluating students and developing individualized treatment plans. Providing occupational therapy services in accordance with students' Individualized Education Programs (IEPs). Collaborating with teachers, school staff, parents, and other specialists to support student achievement. Recommending adaptive equipment, classroom strategies, and environmental modifications. Maintaining accurate documentation and ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to a collaborative, student-centered approach to care. What We're Looking For Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Current Occupational Therapist license in the State of Maine (or eligibility for licensure). Experience working with children or in a school setting is preferred. Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. A passion for helping children build confidence, independence, and lifelong skills. Why Andwell Health Partners?
