Your impactful work will serve students throughout Berrien County, where a variety of assignments and school locations will keep your days engaging and dynamic.

Key Qualifications:

Current Occupational Therapist licensure Previous experience in a school-based setting or with pediatric populations Familiarity with individualized education programs (IEPs) and special education services Ability to adapt strategies for students with autism, cognitive, emotional, and learning disabilities, as well as other health-related challenges Strong organizational and communication skills Willingness to travel between school sites within the county Flexibility regarding building assignments and caseloads, to be confirmed at the start of the school year

Responsibilities Include:

Providing occupational therapy services for a caseload of 55-65 K-12 students Collaborating with teachers, special education staff, and families to create and implement individualized interventions Conducting thorough evaluations and generating progress reports for students with a range of disabilities Participating in IEP meetings and contributing clinical insight to student support teams Planning and delivering therapy sessions that foster independence and improve functional skills Committing to a consistent schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM to 3:45 PM, totaling 36.25 hours per week Begin your assignment on August 24, 2026, and enjoy the chance to be a positive force in the school community until a permanent district therapist is appointed.
