This role focuses on providing compassionate care to children with physical and cognitive impairments, while also involving families in the therapy process. • Implementing assessments for program placement
• Implementing assessments to measure progress
• Developing curriculum
• Supervising programs
• Creating and implementing customized occupational therapy plans with ongoing data analysis to modify as necessary
• Facilitating parent meetings/ parent training to ensure consistency between the home and clinic
• Collaborating with multiple professionals to ensure consistency and quality of care
• Writing reports and collaborating with payors to maintain authorizations
