Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make an impact in educational settings as an Occupational Therapist working part-time near Dearborn, MI. Key Qualifications and Experience:
Active Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure in Michigan Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric OT setting preferred Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with school teams, students, and families Ability to develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Well-organized with attention to detail and documentation requirements
Primary Responsibilities:
Assess students' functional skills and needs within the academic environment Deliver occupational therapy services based on IEP goals Consult with teachers, staff, and families regarding strategies to support student participation Maintain accurate records and progress reports in compliance with school and state guidelines Engage in meetings and planning sessions as required by the school
