We have a clients in need of treatment 1- 2 days a week. Each with the opportunity of working around your busy life or existing work schedule. Travel time is paid at hourly rate . Lansing Ann Arbor Dearborn Ferndale Therapist Job Duties:
Evaluation and treatment of clients in home settings with a variety of diagnosis including traumatic brain, spinal cord and orthopedic injuries. Collaboration with client to develop compensatory strategies to maximize independence and safety for activities of daily living Establish functional, measurable goals with appropriate timelines and engages client and/or care giver in setting goals Assess home environment and make recommendations for durable medical equipment or adaptive technology Complete daily notes or summaries electronically
Location:
Southeast Michigan, Mid-Michigan, West Michigan Therapist Qualifications:
Occupational Therapy degree Michigan State License Experience with a traumatic brain injured, spinal cord injury a plus Ability to build rapport with clients Excellent written and verbal communication skills Passion to help and motivate others
