Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available near South Lyon, MI, for a dedicated Occupational Therapist seeking a meaningful role for the upcoming school year. This assignment is set from September to December, with the possibility of extension should a permanent hire not be secured by the end of the initial period.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license for practice in Michigan Previous experience working with school-aged children preferred Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication and organizational skills Flexible and adaptable to meet the diverse needs of students
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services in accordance with student IEPs Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and progress Work closely with teachers, families, and other school staff to support student achievement and participation Document clinical notes, reports, and progress in compliance with school and legal requirements Attend team meetings and case conferences as needed Provide consultative support to staff members to foster an inclusive environment
