Key Qualifications:

Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license in Michigan Previous experience working in school settings preferred Familiar with creating and implementing IEPs and conducting student assessments Strong communication and collaborative skills for working with teachers, families, and support staff Compassionate, adaptable, and adept at supporting diverse student needs

Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to students' strengths and areas of need Collaborate with educators and families to maximize students' access and participation within the school environment Deliver a variety of occupational therapy interventions directly to students in accordance with IEP goals Document progress and maintain reporting in alignment with school and regulatory guidelines Participate actively in IEP meetings, offering professional recommendations and input Serve as a knowledgeable resource for faculty and families regarding adaptive equipment and classroom accommodations
