Make a direct impact by leveraging your expertise through diverse service delivery models, from in-person to home health and teletherapy. You'll collaborate with educators and families to ensure the unique needs of each student are met—helping them achieve academic and functional success.
Desired Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy, with active OT licensure in the state Prior experience in school, healthcare, or home health OT settings Proficient in fine and gross motor skills assessment and intervention Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and technology use in a therapy setting Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration Ability to develop and update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Compassionate, flexible approach with strong organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students across a variety of ages and abilities Assess, plan, and implement interventions that support fine and gross motor development Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families to facilitate student participation in school activities Contribute to IEP meetings, progress monitoring, and documentation to meet compliance standards Utilize technology and teletherapy resources to deliver remote therapy when needed Adapt interventions for both classroom and home environments to foster ongoing skill development
