Job Description
Desired Qualifications:
Active Minnesota Occupational Therapist License is required Previous school-based occupational therapy experience is highly preferred Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families Excellent communication and documentation abilities Commitment to fostering student independence and participation in school activitiesKey Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as determined by Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to support student access to curriculum and school participation Collaborate with instructional teams to integrate therapy strategies into classroom activities Maintain thorough and accurate records and progress notes Educate and support staff and families regarding therapeutic interventions and techniques Contribute actively to IEP meetings and interdisciplinary planning This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment, working with diverse students to promote their growth and success.
