Job Description

Step into a dynamic educational environment where youll provide essential support as an Occupational Therapist on a contract basis. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to contribute your expertise in a nearby educational setting, covering a maternity leave and continuing as a full-time replacement through the end of the 2026-2027 school year. The role begins as soon as possible, offering a rewarding experience working closely with students, educators, and families.
Desired Qualifications:
Active Minnesota Occupational Therapist License is required Previous school-based occupational therapy experience is highly preferred Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with students, teachers, and families Excellent communication and documentation abilities Commitment to fostering student independence and participation in school activities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students as determined by Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to support student access to curriculum and school participation Collaborate with instructional teams to integrate therapy strategies into classroom activities Maintain thorough and accurate records and progress notes Educate and support staff and families regarding therapeutic interventions and techniques Contribute actively to IEP meetings and interdisciplinary planning This contract position offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a supportive school environment, working with diverse students to promote their growth and success.
