Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact this summer by providing essential occupational therapy support for children birth to age 3 in a welcoming school-based setting. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with young learners and their families, helping foster development during an extended school year program. The caseload serves infants and toddlers, with flexible scheduling and the chance to collaborate with a dedicated interdisciplinary team.
What We Are Looking For:
Current Minnesota Occupational Therapy license (required for application; please attach with resume) Experience or strong interest in school-based OT practice and early intervention Ability to independently manage time and adapt to changing weekly caseloads Effective communication skills to work with children, families, and other professionals Comfort providing both onsite and home/daycare-based services Compassionate, flexible attitude with a child-centered approach
Your Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and indirect OT services to children birth-3 at home or in daycare settings (approximately once per month per client) Conduct collaborative visits with an established team to support children and families Document interventions and progress, ensuring all services meet district and licensure standards Offer check-ins and services for older students ages 3-22 as needed, primarily through indirect support Adapt to variable weekly hours (typically between 3-8 hours a week, depending on caseload needs) Enjoy the advantages of a short-term summer schedule with weekdays only and flexibility for how you structure your hours.
