Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a long-term substitute Occupational Therapist, supporting students from November 2, 2026, through March 29, 2027. This role centers on fostering student growth and independence in a dynamic educational environment near Annandale, MN. You'll collaborate with educators and families to help students reach their full potential, making a lasting impact during a crucial part of the school year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current state licensure as an Occupational Therapist (OT) Previous experience in a school-based OT setting highly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to create engaging, individualized treatment plans Familiarity with IEP development and documentation processes Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads and schedules
Key Responsibilities:
Assess students to identify needs and develop tailored intervention strategies Deliver direct and consultative OT services, focusing on academic, behavioral, and functional skill goals Document progress and maintain compliance with school and state requirements Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Educate students, staff, and families on OT strategies and best practices Support a positive and inclusive learning environment By taking on this contract position, you can immerse yourself in a collaborative school community and broaden your expertise in pediatric occupational therapy.
