Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a meaningful contract position as a full-time Occupational Therapist supporting both middle and elementary school environments near Anoka, MN. This role encompasses the critical fall semester stretch, from September 18th through January 4th, offering variety and impact as you empower students to thrive. Your main responsibility will be assessing and treating students, providing individualized and group intervention to foster school-based success. You'll collaborate with dedicated educators and other professionals and have the opportunity to lead, supervising an experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) across both school sites.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current Minnesota OT license Experience providing school-based OT services preferred Familiarity with IEP procedures and documentation Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to supervise and mentor a
COTA Core Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy assessments and interventions for K-8 students Work flexibly between an elementary and a middle school site as needed Supervise and support the on-site COTA, providing guidance and oversight Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support student progress Maintain accurate therapy records and contribute to IEP meetings Implement evidence-based practices to help students achieve functional goals This contract opportunity offers a dynamic setting, meaningful supervision experience, and the chance to make a real difference in the daily school lives of students.
