Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity working with students in vibrant educational environments near Anoka, MN. From September 18th through January 4th, you'll play a key role supporting children's growth as a full-time Occupational Therapist. In this dynamic role, you will serve both a middle school and an elementary site, providing high-quality therapy services while also mentoring and supervising a talented COTA. Qualifications & Experience:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active state OT license (or eligibility) for practicing in Minnesota School-based occupational therapy experience strongly preferred Previous supervisory experience is a plus, especially overseeing COTAs Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy services to elementary and middle school students Assess, develop, and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Supervise a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), ensuring quality and compliance Consult with educators, families, and other stakeholders to support students' success Maintain accurate records and timely documentation in accordance with school and state policies Travel between middle and elementary school sites as needed This contract role offers the chance to enrich your clinical skills, grow as a supervisor, and experience the fulfillment of working in an educational setting.
