Qualifications:

Active Occupational Therapy license in Minnesota Previous experience in a school or pediatric environment is preferred Strong understanding of IEP processes and documentation requirements Ability to adapt interventions to meet diverse learning needs Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration with staff, students, and families Demonstrated organizational abilities to manage caseloads and documentation efficiently

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluate students' functional abilities within the school environment Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with students' IEPs Provide both direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students, staff, and families Collaborate with teachers and staff to modify classroom environments and support student participation Track student progress, update goals, and maintain comprehensive records Participate in IEP meetings, communicating findings and recommendations clearly to team members Deliver in-services or training for staff as needed regarding occupational therapy interventions This contract role offers the unique opportunity to work closely with a supportive special education team, fostering a positive, collaborative, and student-centered environment.
