An Occupational Therapist helps patients with injuries, illnesses, and disabilities recover, improve, or develop skills needed for everyday activities. Assists people with mobility impairments to move easily around their homes; develops school and workplace settings that are accessible for individuals with physical or mental disabilities. May specialize in certain types of impairments or certain categories of patients.

We are seeking a dedicated full-time, in-person Occupational Therapist to provide services within a supportive school setting. This position offers the opportunity to work with students across a variety of grade levels and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team focused on student growth and achievement. This position is split between two schools.

In-person only position Supportive, student-centered educational environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' independence, participation, and academic success What you'll need: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active State Occupational Therapist license Experience working in a school setting preferred Strong understanding of special education services, IEP processes, and goal development Ability to conduct evaluations, interpret assessment results, and develop individualized treatment plans Excellent communication, documentation, collaboration, and organizational skills Key responsibilities: Conduct occupational therapy evaluations and re-evaluations to identify students' functional and educational needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals Provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students Support students in developing fine motor, visual-motor, sensory processing, self-care, and functional skills necessary for participation in school activities Collaborate with teachers, families, administrators, and related service providers to support student success Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to goal development, accommodations, and progress monitoring Recommend and support the use of adaptive equipment, classroom modifications, and intervention strategies Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and compliance records in accordance with district and state requirements
