Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students by stepping into a dynamic full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) role supporting school communities near Hopkins, MN. This contract opportunity is designed to provide both maternity leave coverage and longer-term support through the end of the 2026-2027 school year. Key Qualifications:
Current, active Minnesota Occupational Therapist license required Previous experience working in a school-based environment is strongly preferred Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff Demonstrated ability to develop and implement age-appropriate OT interventions for diverse student populations Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and the school community
Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments to determine students' functional and developmental needs within the educational setting Develop individualized intervention plans and engage students in targeted therapies that support educational success Collaborate closely with teachers, administration, and families to integrate therapy goals with academic objectives Maintain accurate documentation of student progress, services provided, and ongoing goals Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student-centered planning Support a culture of inclusivity and empowerment in the school setting This full-time Occupational Therapist opportunity allows you to apply your specialized skills while experiencing the fulfillment of fostering student independence and learning.
