Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract As a skilled Occupational Therapist with a passion for supporting students, you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in a dynamic school setting near Maple Grove, MN. This contract role invites you to collaborate with educators and families, helping students achieve their academic and developmental goals while experiencing the unique rewards of educational therapy.
Ideal candidates will bring:
Current, valid Occupational Therapy license for the state or eligibility for licensure Experience providing OT services in a school or pediatric setting Strong collaboration skills with interdisciplinary teams Ability to develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational abilities Knowledge of evidence-based strategies for sensory, fine/gross motor, and self-regulation interventions As part of your daily responsibilities, you will: Assess and evaluate students to determine OT needs within the educational environment Create, execute, and monitor individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to support student participation and engagement Track progress, maintain accurate records, and contribute to IEP meetings Provide direct therapy as well as consultative services and staff training Adapt activities and environments to foster student independence and learning This contract assignment is an excellent opportunity to further develop your expertise and professional network in a supportive and collaborative school community.
