An exciting contract opportunity is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist who thrives in school-based settings. This position is located near Monticello, MN, where your dedication will help foster student success and promote independence for learners of all abilities. Your expertise in school Occupational Therapy will contribute to creating meaningful experiences for children, collaborating closely with teachers, staff, and families. Qualifications & Experience:
Current, active Occupational Therapy license for the state of Minnesota Prior experience in a K-12 school environment strongly preferred Knowledge of IEP development and implementation Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability to adapt interventions for a variety of student needs Collaborative spirit for teaming with educators and related service providers
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students according to IEP and 504 plans Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student success Maintain accurate and timely documentation of evaluations and progress reports Contribute to meetings and provide staff training as needed Utilize adaptive strategies and tools to maximize student participation and growth
