This position offers the chance to work near Saint Michael, MN, collaborating with dedicated educational professionals to help students reach their full potential.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Occupational Therapist license in Minnesota Experience providing occupational therapy services to pediatric or school-aged populations Understanding of the unique challenges and needs within a school environment Skills in developing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and documentation Strong interpersonal communication abilities for collaboration with staff and families Ability to adapt strategies for diverse student needs
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop individualized therapy plans for students in accordance with district and state guidelines Deliver direct occupational therapy interventions to students in classroom and individual settings Monitor and document student progress; adjust therapy goals as needed Work closely with teachers, school staff, and families to integrate therapy strategies into daily routines and the classroom environment Participate in IEP meetings, providing insights and recommendations to support student success Maintain accurate, timely records to meet regulatory compliance and best practice standards
