We're looking for an Occupational Therapist to join a team serving adults at an inpatient mental health facility in Callaway County, Missouri. This part-time, temporary contract role (up to 24 hours/week) runs Monday-Friday within an 8:00 AM-4:30 PM window and is scheduled to start July 1, 2026. Pay is $55-$65/hour; contract length is to be determined. What you'll do Evaluate clients' functional mobility, daily living skills, and need for adaptive or mobility equipment. Recommend and implement interventions to improve safety, reduce fall risk, and increase independence. Teach consumers and caregivers how to use adaptive equipment safely and effectively. Provide OT services for ADLs, self-care, fine motor coordination, muscle re-education, weakness, and pain management. Communicate equipment needs and care plans to facility staff. Document assessments, interventions, and progress according to facility standards. Complete required orientation and facility credentialing/security checks before starting. Perform other related duties as assigned. Who we're looking for Licensed Occupational Therapist in Missouri. Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Experience conducting OT assessments and delivering interventions—behavioral health, rehab, long-term care, or hospital experience is a plus. Strong documentation, communication, and teamwork skills. Comfortable supporting adults with mobility, self-care, adaptive equipment, and safety needs.
