Position Summary:
The position of School-Based Occupational Therapist provides coordinated Occupational therapy to school-aged children. They plan, implement, and evaluate students to provide appropriate fine motor and/or sensory integration skills. They evaluate occupational roles and occupational performance of students with physical and/or cognitive impairments. They provide interventions based on student deficits and they collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.Benefits/Compensation:

Education/License/Certification:
Masters, or PhD in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution of higher education Current Active State License to practice Occupational Therapy inMO Experience/Requirements:
Pediatric focus and/or School-Based experience preferred. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Self-motivated, with strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize time and meet deadlines. Ability to work under pressure. Ability to maintain confidentiality of data and information. Knowledge of therapy skills as defined as generally accepted standards of practice. Excellent communication- verbal and written, and interpersonal skills.
