This position offers the chance to make a significant difference by providing essential occupational therapy services at a dynamic early learning center near Blue Springs, MO. You'll collaborate with a dedicated educational team and contribute valuable expertise to screenings, assessments, and both consult and direct services for preschool students.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

Valid OT licensure and credentials for school-based practice Knowledge and experience with early childhood or preschool-aged children, preferably in a special education setting Ability to conduct comprehensive screenings and assessments Comfortable participating in evaluation and IEP teams Strong skills in both direct service delivery and consultative support Flexibility, adaptability, and effective communication within multidisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

Provide occupational therapy services for special education preschool students Conduct screenings and assessments to determine therapy needs Collaborate as a member of evaluation and IEP teams, contributing professional insights Deliver both consultative and direct OT services in accordance with student plans Document interventions and progress, maintaining student records as needed Engage with staff and families to support holistic student growth and participation

Schedule Details:

Three days per week, preferred schedule of Tuesday through Thursday (Monday through Wednesday also considered)

Hours:
