Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting students as a part-time Occupational Therapist for the 2026/2027 school year. This contract position offers the flexibility of delivering impactful services through a teletherapy platform. You'll work with a manageable caseload of approximately 32-33 students, providing essential support to each student once weekly, with a select few seen twice per week. Make a difference by helping young learners develop the skills they need to thrive in both academic and daily life settings. Pay for this position is highly competitive, ranging from $85 to $90 per hour, reflecting your expertise, commitment, and the value you bring to student success.
Key Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist license Previous experience in a school-based setting preferred Strong foundation in OT assessment and intervention within educational environments Proficiency with teletherapy tools and approaches Exceptional communication skills, enabling collaboration with educators and families Compassion and adaptability to meet the unique needs of each student
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct thorough evaluations and develop individualized therapy plans Deliver occupational therapy services remotely, focusing on fine motor, self-help, sensory, and functional skills Document session outcomes and maintain accurate student records Partner with teaching staff, other specialists, and families to foster inclusive classroom experiences Monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing educational teams Enjoy a flexible part-time schedule during the school year, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.
