Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity to provide essential occupational therapy services in a school-based setting for the 2026/2027 academic year. This part-time role offers the flexibility of teletherapy, making a difference from wherever you are while supporting a vibrant student population near Hollandale, MS. Work with approximately 32-33 students, typically meeting with them once weekly, with a handful requiring sessions twice each week. Your expertise will help empower students to achieve greater independence and success in their educational environment.
Requirements:
Valid and current Occupational Therapist licensure Experience and comfort working within schools, with students ages PreK-12 Previous teletherapy experience highly preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills with students, parents, and school staff Proficiency in developing, implementing, and tracking individualized treatment plans and progress Reliable technology setup to deliver high-quality virtual services
Responsibilities:
Provide direct occupational therapy interventions to students, primarily through teletherapy Evaluate and assess students' needs to develop appropriate goals and therapy plans Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to ensure integrated solutions and support Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and compliance with regulations or IEPs Adapt strategies and interventions to fit each student's needs, promoting engagement and progress Enjoy the professional satisfaction of supporting student success in an innovative setting, with the flexibility of part-time hours.
