Pediatric Occupational Therapist (OT) Wonderfully Wired Institute for Learning - Laurel, Mississippi Wonderfully Wired Institute for Learning is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our growing team! We serve children with a wide range of developmental, sensory, behavioral, communication, and learning needs in a supportive and inclusive environment. We are looking for an OT who genuinely loves working with children and families and wants the opportunity to help build and grow our occupational therapy program. Responsibilities Evaluate children and identify individual occupational therapy needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide pediatric OT services targeting fine motor skills, sensory processing and regulation, visual-motor skills, self-care, daily living skills, coordination, and functional independence Establish measurable goals and monitor progress Complete required documentation and progress reports Collaborate with teachers, caregivers, behavioral professionals, speech-language pathologists, and other members of the child's team Provide families and staff with recommendations and strategies that can be incorporated throughout the child's day Participate in a fun, supportive, child-centered environment Qualifications Master's or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current or eligible Mississippi Occupational Therapy license NBCOT certification as applicable Pediatric experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply Experience with autism, developmental disabilities, sensory needs, or early intervention is a plus Strong communication and collaboration skills Most importantly, someone who is patient, dependable, creative, and passionate about helping children reach their fullest potential Position We are open to discussing full-time, part-time, or contract/PRN arrangements for the right candidate.
