Full-time Job Summary The Occupational Therapist will play a critical role in enhancing the quality of life for patients by developing and implementing personalized therapeutic interventions that promote independence and functional ability. This position focuses on assessing patients with a variety of physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement rehabilitation plans using evidence-based practices. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor s or Master s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution Valid and current state licensure Current CPR certification Preferred Qualifications Experience in rehabilitation settings Familiarity with assistive technology and adaptive equipment Essential Duties & Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to evaluate physical, cognitive, and emotional abilities and limitations Develop and implement individualized treatment plans targeting rehabilitation goals Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and adaptive equipment Ensure timely and accurate documentation and compliance with policies Maintain positive working relationships with facility staff Perform other duties as assigned Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, walk, and perform physical activities required for patient care Ability to lift, move, and transport patients with or without reasonable accommodation Visual, hearing, and communication abilities sufficient for patient care All candidates must be able to perform the essential functions of this position.
