TITLE:
Rehabilitation Therapist
LOCATION

Qualifications:
Must hold a Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy. Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association is required. Must be licensed in the State of Montana.
Hours and Salary Range:
Position entails day shift hours. Compensation ranges from $36.41/hr to $54.62/hr, along with comprehensive benefits and potential relocation/sign-on bonuses.
Responsibilities:
Conduct diagnostic assessments and treatments for assigned patients, assisting them in maximizing their performance and utilizing learned skills to their fullest potential for community integration within their capabilities. Administer thorough evaluations and documentation following departmental guidelines. Offer consultations on environmental design, adaptive equipment, proper patient positioning to prevent contractures, splinting, and provide guidance to institutions such as local schools, nursing homes, home care agencies, and hospitals. Maintain accurate and timely patient records and reports. Develop and implement treatment programs to enhance patients' functional levels using therapeutic exercises and activities. Instruct patients in adapted techniques and equipment usage for various daily living tasks. Create and administer therapy for neurological integration and sensorimotor integration treatment techniques. Tailor individualized therapy for adult learning-disabled patients. Design and construct splints as per physician prescriptions, and fabricate slings and adaptive equipment to meet patient and family needs. Deliver treatment programs for traumatic brain-injured patients to improve cognitive skills, reality orientation, and organizational abilities. Offer preventive therapy to uphold functional skills, educating patients on energy conservation, joint protection, safety measures for sensory issues, and more. Assess patients' cognitive abilities, organizational skills, attention spans, and coordinate home programs for patient or family implementation. Participate in patient support groups alongside team members. Conduct evaluations and devise a personalized care plan.
