Category Therapy - Hospital - OT Job Type Contract Provide essential therapy services in a hospital setting, supporting patient rehabilitation and promoting optimal recovery through occupational therapy expertise. This role centers on evaluating, planning, and implementing therapeutic interventions to enhance patients' independence and quality of life.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Active, unrestricted Occupational Therapist license Experience delivering occupational therapy in a hospital or acute care environment Proficiency with therapy assessments, care planning, and patient documentation Strong communication and collaborative skills for multidisciplinary teamwork Ability to tailor treatment for varied patient populations across age groups and medical conditions
Responsibilities:
Complete comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized care plans Implement effective occupational therapy treatments to address functional deficits Document patient progress, responses to interventions, and update goals as needed Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care Educate patients and families on therapeutic exercises, adaptive equipment, and home programs to facilitate continued progress Maintain compliance with federal, state, and hospital regulations and standards This contract opportunity offers dynamic clinical experience in a hospital environment, helping patients regain independence and maximize their quality of life.
