Job Description

Pediatric Occupational Therapist My Roar Speech Therapy Apex, NC Job Details Full-time From $67,000 a year 13 hours ago Benefits Wellness program Paid holidays 401(k) Paid time off Professional development assistance Opportunities for advancement Qualifications Master's degree Occupational Therapy Clinical documentation Pediatrics Occupational Therapy License Full Job Description Pediatric Occupational Therapist Full-Time | Apex, NC My Roar Therapy is a small pediatric private practice in Apex, NC. We work with children across a range of diagnoses and profiles, and we take a strengths-based, neurodiversity affirming approach to everything we do. This is a boutique clinic, which means caseloads are intentional, families are known by name, and the therapists here are treated like the professionals they are. We are growing, and we are looking for an occupational therapist who is ready to grow with us. Compensation and Benefits Beyond base pay, there are real bonus opportunities tied to the work you do, both clinical performance and contributions to the clinic beyond your caseload.
Additional benefits include:
401(k) from day one Monthly wellness stipend Professional Development Allowance that grows with tenure and covers CEUs, licensure fees, and conferences Up to 20 flexible paid days off plus 6 paid holidays depending on tenure What This Job Actually Looks Like Your caseload will be full but not overwhelming. You will have time to do good work. Documentation is paid time, not personal time. Leadership is accessible because this clinic is small enough that communication is actually possible. We are therapist-owned, which means the person running this clinic understands what it feels like to want to do this work well and not have the systems around you support that. My Roar was built differently on purpose. Sensory integration is central to how we work here. We are looking for a clinician who brings real competency in SI and who approaches neurodivergent children with genuine affirmation, not just tolerance. If that is already how you think and practice, you will feel at home here. We also want to be honest about something. This role has real leadership potential. As My Roar expands into a multidisciplinary practice, the OT who joins now has a genuine opportunity to help shape what OT looks like here, to mentor future clinicians, to develop specialty programming, and to grow into a leadership role as the clinic grows. That is not a promise we make lightly. It is an opportunity that exists because we are building something and we want the right person building it with us. Feeding experience is a meaningful asset in this role. Families come to us looking for comprehensive support, and a clinician who can serve children with feeding challenges alongside sensory and motor needs is genuinely valuable here. Who We Are Looking For Master's degree or Doctoral degree (OTD) in Occupational Therapy Active North Carolina OT license or current eligibility Strong foundational knowledge and clinical competency in sensory integration Neurodiversity affirming philosophy and approach Genuine comfort working with families as active partners in the process Feeding experience preferred and warmly welcomed A clinician who is intentional about where they work, values team culture, and wants to grow alongside a mission-driven practice rather than simply fill a position Responsibilities Conduct occupational therapy evaluations across a range of pediatric presentations Provide individualized, strengths-based therapy with a sensory integration lens Collaborate actively with speech-language pathology and other disciplines as part of an integrated, team-based approach to pediatric care Collaborate with families and caregivers as active participants in the process Complete timely documentation in Jane EMR Participate in team meetings and contribute to a collaborative environment Uphold AOTA Code of Ethics and My Roar Therapy values We are looking for clinicians who are adaptable, collaborative, and invested in being part of something bigger than themselves. Growth sometimes requires flexibility, teamwork, and initiative. We value people who communicate clearly, take ownership, support their teammates, and want to actively contribute to the kind of clinic they would be proud to grow with long term. We read every application personally. My Roar Therapy, PLLC | Apex, NC | myroartherapy.com | 919-355-2233
