What youll bring:
North Carolina OT license (NCBOT) in good standing Post-graduate degree in Occupational Therapy (Masters preferred) Previous experience in a school-based setting, including therapy delivery and documentation NPI number and registration with NC Tracks, or willingness to obtain prior to start Knowledge of DCDEE fingerprinting and successful completion of a district background check Proficiency in standardized school OT assessments, particularly the Sensory Processing Measure2 (SPM-2) and Sensory Profile 2 Strong analytical and communication skills for interpreting and applying assessment data within educational programs Ability to adapt to a workload-based caseload, reviewed monthly and discussed in detail during prescreening Your responsibilities: Conduct motor screenings and comprehensive OT evaluations for students ranging from elementary to high school Deliver occupational therapy services tailored to each students educational program Document interventions, progress, and outcomes in accordance with district and state standards Collaborate with teachers, families, and multi-disciplinary teams to support student success across various campuses Apply knowledge of sensory processing and functional skill development to help students thrive in school environments This is a rewarding contract role in a supportive district that values continuous professional growth.
