As a vital member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by helping them achieve their maximum functional potential. About the
Role:
As an Occupational Therapist at Glenbridge Health and Rehabilitation, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to design and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each resident. Your expertise will focus on enabling residents to participate in daily life activities, maintain independence, and promote overall well-being. You will also collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and optimal outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement individualized occupational therapy treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each resident Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted interventions Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including cognitive, sensory, and motor skills training, to promote functional ability and independence Work collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement resident-centered care plans Provide education and training to residents, families, and caregivers to promote carryover of skills learned in therapy sessions Participate in quality improvement initiatives to continuously improve patient outcomes and satisfaction
