Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Step into an exciting contract opportunity as an Occupational Therapist, working with diverse student populations across schools in the Millers Creek, NC area. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in students' educational journeys from August 12th, 2026, through June 4th, 2027. School sites will be assigned prior to the new school year, giving you an engaging and dynamic work environment with a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours each week.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Active Occupational Therapist license in North Carolina Experience in school-based or pediatric occupational therapy preferred Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy interventions for children with varied needs Strong communication skills for collaboration with teachers, families, and IEP teams Compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated to student growth Availability to begin work on August 12th, 2026, and commit through the 2026-2027 school year
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver occupational therapy services to students based on IEP goals and district guidelines Conduct assessments and participate in IEP meetings, offering professional recommendations Work collaboratively with school staff to create supportive classroom environments Document therapy sessions and progress regularly in compliance with state and district standards Serve as a resource and advocate for students' functional and educational needs Adapt interventions to various school sites throughout the year If you have a passion for supporting student success and hold the required NC OT license, this contract role presents a valuable way to utilize your expertise.
