Key Qualifications & Experience:

Valid North Carolina Occupational Therapy license required Previous experience in a school setting is highly desirable Solid understanding of school-aged development, sensory processing, and assistive technology Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, educators, and families

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments for students aged preschool through high school, as assigned Develop and deliver evidence-based treatment plans aligned with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Collaborate closely with teachers, special educators, and other support staff to facilitate student progress and classroom participation Document progress, maintain compliance with district and state guidelines, and participate in IEP meetings Provide consultation, training, and resources to staff and families to encourage carryover and student success
