Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Bring your passion for Occupational Therapy to a thriving school community near scenic Pilot Mountain, North Carolina! As a school-based Occupational Therapist, your expertise will help students develop the skills they need to succeed both academically and personally. Collaborate with committed educators, families, and fellow professionals as you provide crucial therapy services, assessments, and interventions tailored to each student's unique needs.
Desired Qualifications:
Current North Carolina Occupational Therapist license (or eligibility to obtain) Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting strongly preferred Strong communication, organization, and documentation abilities Ability to develop and implement effective treatment plans for diverse learners Dedication to fostering growth, independence, and learning for every student
Role Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized therapy plans Deliver direct and consultative OT services to students per IEP requirements Participate in student support and IEP meetings as a valued team contributor Maintain clear records and documentation aligned with school and state standards Educate and support staff, students, and families on adaptive strategies and tools Utilize creativity and problem-solving to help students overcome challenges in the classroom Discover a supportive work atmosphere where your skills are valued and your impact is seen daily.
