Job Description

Category Schools - OT Job Type Contract Embark on an exciting contract opportunity as a skilled Occupational Therapist, supporting students in a dynamic academic setting near Pinnacle, NC. As a dedicated school-based OT, you'll work closely with educators and student support teams to empower students and foster growth in their academic and daily lives. Desired Qualifications:
Current Occupational Therapist license in North Carolina, or eligibility to obtain Previous experience as an OT in a school environment preferred Strong understanding of Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes Ability to collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills Passion for supporting children with diverse needs and abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments to determine students' needs and develop intervention plans Provide direct therapy services to students with a range of physical, sensory, or developmental challenges Collaborate in the creation and execution of IEPs Educate and support staff and families regarding therapeutic practices Document progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate updates regularly Participate in team meetings and contribute professional input to student success plans Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages student participation
