About the
Role:
Therapy World LLC is looking for a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist to join our growing team in Statesville, NC. Responsibilities:
Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities to develop individualized treatment plans Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to improve patients' daily living and work skills Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams including physicians, physical therapists, and speech-language pathologists Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and adaptive strategies for home and community settings Recommend and train patients in the use of adaptive equipment and assistive technology Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Requirements:
Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Current licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in North Carolina NBCOT certification (OTR) required or in process Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with patients, families, and care teams Experience in a clinical, outpatient, or rehabilitation setting preferred Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
