Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Active state licensure and NBCOT certification required Previous experience working in schools or pediatric settings preferred Strong communication and collaboration abilities Ability to design and implement individualized therapy plans Compassion, patience, and creativity in addressing students diverse needs

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to determine students functional abilities within the school environment Develop and update individualized educational plans (IEPs) for students receiving OT services Provide direct occupational therapy services to students, both individually and in groups Offer consultation and training to teachers, staff, and parents to support students progress Maintain thorough and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions Adapt therapy techniques and materials to enhance student engagement and success
