What You'll Do As an Occupational Therapist, you'll evaluate and treat patients with an emphasis on improving independence and participation in daily activities.

Responsibilities include:

Evaluate patients and develop individualized plans of care Provide evidence-based Occupational Therapy treatment Help patients improve functional mobility, strength and activities of daily living Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate Educate patients, families and caregivers Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff and other members of the rehabilitation team Supervise COTAs in accordance with North Dakota requirements, when applicable

Qualifications Required:

Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program North Dakota Occupational Therapist license or eligibility for licensure Experience in skilled nursing, assisted living or geriatric rehabilitation is helpful, but qualified Occupational Therapists from other practice settings are encouraged to apply.
