This full-time role centers on fostering student success across the 26/27 school year in an engaging educational environment near Center Barnstead, NH. As a valued member of a collaborative school team, you'll employ your expertise to help young learners develop vital skills and fully participate in the academic experience.
What you bring:
Current New Hampshire Occupational Therapy license Previous experience (or strong interest) working with elementary-aged students Solid understanding of school-based OT practices and individualized education programs (IEPs) Skillful communicator with educators, families, and students alike Ability to assess, design, and implement effective treatment plans Organizational strengths to manage caseloads and keep detailed documentation Key responsibilities: Provide direct OT services to elementary students with diverse needs Conduct assessments to identify strengths and areas of support Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure holistic student progress Develop and monitor individualized therapy plans and goals aligned with IEPs Participate in IEP meetings and offer clear, insightful recommendations Educate school staff on strategies for supporting student participation in classroom activities Maintain thorough records to comply with school and state guidelines Make a meaningful impact while enjoying the stability and professional growth this contract role offers.
