Qualifications and Experience:

Valid Occupational Therapist (OT) license for the state of practice Previous experience working in a school-based setting, with knowledge of assessment tools and intervention strategies for K-12 students Strong communication skills for collaboration with educators, parents, and support teams Ability to travel easily between assigned schools as scheduled Organizational skills to manage caseloads and complete required documentation efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Assess students' functional abilities and needs through evaluations and standardized assessments Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans that support educational goals Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to promote student participation and progress in the classroom Maintain thorough, timely documentation of services provided and student progress Provide training and consultative support to staff and families to maximize student outcomes Balance a dynamic schedule, spending two days each week at each assigned location This contract position provides the chance to make a tangible difference over the course of the school year, while working within a structured and collaborative environment.
