Job Description

An exciting opportunity awaits an Occupational Therapist seeking a rewarding, contract-based position serving charter school students in the Keene, New Hampshire area. This part-time, onsite role offers a collaborative environment, the flexibility to tailor your schedule in coordination with school leadership, and the chance to support multiple campuses. With responsibilities spread between Gathering Waters and Surry Village Charter Schools, youll engage students from grades 1 through 5 while working alongside dedicated educators to make a meaningful impact.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Valid New Hampshire Occupational Therapy (OT) certificate required Previous experience in a school-based OT setting strongly preferred Ability to provide both direct student services and staff consultations as outlined in IEPs Strong documentation and time management skills Effective communicator, comfortable working across multiple campus sites (Keene & Surry, NH, approximately 15 minutes apart) Committed to fostering student independence and engagement
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver individualized and group OT services (approximately 110 hours for the remainder of the school year) across charter school locations Provide routine consultation to staff and families, supporting inclusive practices and student success Conduct direct therapy sessions, focusing on the needs of students in grades 1 through 5 Travel between two school sites: the upper campus (grade 5) in Keene, the lower campus (grades 12) in Surry, and Gathering Waters Collaborate with the Director to create a flexible schedule that meets student needs and supports your work-life balance Maintain detailed service logs and contribute to annual and periodic IEP meetings Enjoy a role where your expertise shapes young learners futures.
