This unique 100% full-time position offers the opportunity to impact students across four distinct towns: Marlborough (60%), Westmoreland (15%), Nelson (15%), and Harrisville (10%). Professional Agency:
Manage a diverse caseload with the autonomy to design environments that truly work for children. Your Role in the Classroom The Occupational Therapist role is essential in helping children meet their educational goals through specialized support:
Assess & Evaluate:
Determine students' functional physical development and self-regulation needs.
Goal-Oriented Planning:
Develop and implement treatment plans and Individual Education Plans (IEPs) tailored to individual student objectives.
Environmental Design:
Identify and remove barriers to learning, providing expert recommendations for school-wide accessibility.
Leadership:
Provide professional direction and supervision to Licensed Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs).
Qualifications Education:
BS and/or MS in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Must hold (or be eligible for) New Hampshire Occupational Therapy Licensure. Apply on-line at www.sau29.org Questions?
